Yellow as always been kind of an absent color in my closet. I remember to hate it when I was a kid because my sister loved everything yellow! However, over the years, it grew on me. I think it was probably because of a mustard yellow couch I once saw on a magazine (not sure, though…) and fell for instantly. Either way, there aren’t a lot of sunny pieces warming up my racks. I can actually only remember a top I used to wear to the beach, a leather belt I’ve had for about 6 years and has been worn, what? – 2 or 3 times?!; and there’s also a vintage style patent cross body bag I haven’t seen in ages… – and that’s it for yellow in my wardrobe. Until last week. Now there’s this cute little skirt hanging right beside their mates, brightning things up a little. At first I doubted it – com’on the pattern is made of little hearts (you can’t see it but it’s there!) for heaven’sakes!!, and I’m not a hearts person – polka dots, sure!, hearts, nheee… but why not? For a change… Welcome to the family, dear!
