WANTED | Down to Earth

When it comes to footwear, I’ve always been the biggest fan of flat shoes. Don’t get me wrong, I love heels and the marvels they do to the female figure, but I am also a practical girl and I do not buy that crap Hollywood sells in movies – that I like – such as The Devil Wears Prada, where Anne Hathaway runs around NY in skyscraper heels like it is normal and easy. No can do, baby.

So, I save my heels collection to special occasions, days when my self-esteem needs a lift or any given time that I know I won’t walk much – needless to say, that does not happen quite often. Anyway…

My passion for flats is deep, but I like to keep things simple, in the eternal, timeless and can-never-go-wrong basics: a pair of converse, a pair of ballerinas, a pair of gladiator sandals, a pair of flip-flops (need to buy new ones – all my flip flops decided to pass out last week…) a pair of knee-high boots, a pair of loafers and a pair of brogues. These are my basics. I have some, I need to replace a few and I have to buy some others. On that matter, I was browsing over the footwear selection on Nelly.com and I fell for these two beauties…

Gorgeously masculine everyday footwear, perfect to give that androgynous touch, that ‘I can handle it on my own‘ feeling. Love that tough/cool girl look… I can actually be very picky when it comes to shoes (well, everything really), but when a shoe is perfect, well made, from quality material, it has personality and I can tell that it will last… Man, if that isn’t a keeper!😀 These are on my wishlist for this fall.🙂

Wish you all a great weekend!🙂 xo, T.
